The main issue is this branch isn't suitable for foreign tourist (particular for those can't speak Chinese) due to most of employees has little or no knowledge of English language. It took about five minute to reach by walking. The location was far away from the hotel, despite on same area. Coincidentally there was empty time after allowed to return to hotel earlier. father decided to have dinner at Tim Ho Wan. Considered sounded like brilliant suggestion, on third day tour my. My family had went to Tim Ho Wan Pantai Indah Kapuk branch in Indonesia, but my grandmother along with her younger sister hadn't yet. Unbelievable there was Tim Ho Wan near the hotel I stayed.

Highly recommended for those who want to try one of the best dim-sums in HK. The dum-sums here were so delicious and well presented, the price was cheap and the service was attentive. But the dim-sum from Tim Ho Wan had broadened my horizon as I had never realised the good dim-sum could be so tasty and delicate. To be honest, I had eaten a lot of dim-sum in my life and I got fed up a long time ago. The price was much cheaper than an average dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong. It cost a total of HKD $188 for 8 portions of dim-sum, 2 portions of tea (unfortunately the tea was way too strong and tasted very bitter) and a can of coke. I felt this was lovely as it was an unusual practice for many Chinese restaurants. Throughout our meal, they came round twice and asked whether we were satisfied with the food. Staffs were attentive, polite and caring. My table was tiny for 2 people and it was too small to hold 8 portions of dim-sum, 2 bowls, 2 teacups, a teapot, a glass of coke and 2 bottles of sauces. This restaurant wasn't big and it housed about 20 tables. The "Pan-Fried Turnip Cake" ($16), "Congree with Pork & Century Egg" ($20), "Steamed Prawn Rice rolls" ($26), "Vermicelli Roll with Fried Doughs" ($22) were all tasty and were definitely better than most of the restaurants in H.K. It was crispy and hot on the outside but the milk inside was sweet and smooth, it tasted like the potatoes croquettes with creamy milk inside. The "Deep Fried Milk Custard ($22)" was another outstanding dessert. Unlike the traditional "BBQ Pork Bun", this one had an extraordinary crumbly texture and it was a very taste-addictive dim-sum. The exterior of the baked bun was crumbly, the BBQ pork inside was not oversweet and the meat quality was good (i.e. The "Baked Bun with BBQ Pork ($20)" was one of this restaurant's signature dishes. The "Steamed Beef Balls ($18)" were well-seasoned, they were light, tender and fluffy. The prawns from the "Steamed Prawns Dumplings ($28)" were fresh, sweet and crunchy. All of them were extraordinary and delicious as we couldn't tell which one was the best. We deliberately came to Tseung Kwan O to visit this well-known Michelin Star chain restaurant and to experience its famous dim-sum.
